General Note
Mah jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19thcentury in China and has spread throughout the world sincethe early 20th century. Mah jongg uses a set of tiles thatdepict dots, sticks of bamboo, Chinese characters, winds of the four cardinaldirections, dragons, flowers, and seasons. Mah-jongg is a matching game with a simple setof rules: The goal of the game is to remove all tiles from play by matchingidentical pairs.
